Hayling Golf Club - Hayling Island

At one of the best 18 hole golf courses in the South of England, playing Links golf at Hayling Golf Club provides a serious challenge for the low handicapper whilst offering lesser golfers an enjoyable tussle. The course is set within 190 acres of a Site of Special Scientific Interest and gently undulates between sand dunes around the South West peninsular of Hayling Island. Since its creation in 1883 Hayling Golf Club has regularly hosted County and National competitions and an expert, energetic and dedicated greenkeeping staff maintain championship standards.


Havant College

Portsmouth Football Club

Premiership side Portsmouth were founded in 1898 by a collection of businessmen, amongst them the first chairman of the club, John Brickwood, and the man who would become known as the 'father of the club', George Oliver. Pompey tasted their first success in the FA Cup in 1939 under legendary manager Jack Tinn, who had lead the side to two previous final defeats. It is Tinn who is credited with laying the platform for the consecutive championship winning sides of the late 1940's. Fast Fact:Peter Harris is Pompey's most successful marksman scoring 208 goals in 516 games in all competitions. Fast Fact:Serbia and Montenegro international Dejan Stefanovic is Pompey's record signing at 1.85million pounds.

International College Portsmouth

International College Portsmouth (ICP) is situated in the centre of a beautiful and cosmopolitan South Coast city and provides pathway courses for international students wishing to study at the University of Portsmouth. Situated in the centre of the campus, ICP is an associate college of the University and, upon successful completion of their ICP studies, all students have guaranteed progression to a University of Portsmouth degree course.

Southsea Castle - Hampshire

Southsea Castle was built by Henry VIII between 1544 and 1545 to protect Portsmouth against possible French invasion. Its revolutionary design provided for the most efficient use of guns in attack or defence now that artillery dominated warfare. In the early 19th century, the castle was substantially altered to accommodate extra guns and a larger garrison of 200 men. The most significant addition of this period was an underground tunnel around the moat, which you can still enter. The castle was only withdrawn from active service in 1960. St Vincent College

St Vincent College is a sixth form college in Gosport, Hampshire. It opened in September 1987 and current has around 1,100 full time students on roll and a similar number of part time students. The college offers a wide range of courses, including more than 40 AS and A levels, GCSEs, BTEC, OCR and City & Guilds.

University of Chichester

The University of Chichester was established in 1839 and attained university status in 2005. It is located in West Sussex, UK, with one campus at Bishop Otter and the other at Bognor Regis. The two academic faculties include The Faculty of Business, Arts and Humanities, and the Faculty of Sport, Education and Social Science. Undergraduate, postgraduate as well as foundation degrees are offered in a wide range of subjects. The College has seven academic schools including cultural studies, physical education, social studies, sports, exercise and health sciences, teacher education, visual and performing arts, business and management and tourism.
